Accommodation Rates

Rates range from R 745 – R 1095 per person sharing a room. Please contact us directly for a detailed quote or more information on our special packages.

All rooms have an internet connection point, free wi-fi, satellite TV, heated towel rails, air-conditioning or ceiling fans, tea & coffee facilities, a bar fridge and an electronic safe.

Rooms are serviced daily.

General Notes

  • Check-in time is from 2pm on the arrival date, and check-out before 10am on the day of departure
  • Please advise us on early or late arrivals and departures – we will try our best to accommodate you
  • Advance notice with regards to dietary restrictions (allergies/vegetarian/vegan) will be appreciated to allow us to cater for these where possible
  • Snack platters and dinner are available on request and by prior arrangement, or we will gladly make a restaurant reservation for you
  • Airport transfers and Day tours can be arranged on request

Child Policy

For bookings to stay up to 30 September 2018 (rates may increase from Oct 2018):
Children are welcome at Mariner Guesthouse, but we request that parents inform them of our “no noise” policy and to be considerate to other guests in the house.

  • An extra bed, mattress or baby cot can be added to any of the rooms on request (max 2 extra children per room).
  • If a single parent shares a room with children, the single adult rate plus the rate per child will apply.
  • Children’s Rates:
    • 0 – 2 yrs: Stay for free
    • 3-5 yrs: R 220 per night, including breakfast
    • 6-10yrs: R 310 per night, including breakfast
    • 11yrs+: R 360 per night, including breakfast
    • Baby Cot: Free

Single Adult Supplement

  • Single persons occupying a room will be charged the sharing-per person rate (half the sharing room rate), plus a supplement of R200 per night.

Extra Adult per room

  • A third adult (11 yrs+) per room will be charged R360 per night, including breakfast (max 3 adults per room)

Reservations, Payment and Cancellation Conditions

  • Deposits and cancellation fees are calculated on the full value of stay.
  • A 50% deposit will be required to secure a booking.
  • Once the deposit has been received, a written confirmation with an invoice number will be forwarded to the client.
  • The balance of the booking value (50%) is to be paid on arrival.
  • Payment for meals or any other extras to be made on the day of departure.
  • Mariner Guesthouse will retain the full deposit payment in the case of cancellations made within 60 days of arrival.
  • “No Shows” will be charged for in full.
  • A full refund of deposit (minus 10% handling fee) will apply to bookings cancelled more than 60 days prior to arrival.
  • After check-in, no refunds will be offered for shortened stays.
  • We accept all major credit cards, EFTs and cash as payment options, but regret NO DEBIT CARDS can be processed.
  • All rates include VAT @ 14%.
