Pick any weekend of the year in Cape Town and you’re bound to find a host of events planned throughout our hip and happening city. Your inner foodie really wants to go to the Good Food and Wine Show, and the shopaholic in you wants to go to Cheap as Chips. You should probably listen to them…

#PickoftheWeek: Cheap as Chips: 27 May
Cape Town residents love markets, it’s just something we enjoy. This event taps into our love of markets, our love of fashion and the sporty edge that most Capetonians possess. This bargain shopping binge (hosted at The Shred in Paarden Eiland) will have clothes, food, retro items, games and marked down items from skateboarding brands. The money raised by this event will go towards building DIY skateboarding installations in lower income areas.

Save a few bob, and keep it Cheap as Chips.
