Environmental Lectures at sea

For Groups:

1. Boulders Lectures at Sea
Environmental education lectures will include the history and houses of the Boulders area, the African Penguin, fishing and whaling in Simon’s Bay. Penguins, whales and seals etc. may all be encountered while at sea.

Duration of the trip: 1 hour
Cost: R95 per person

2. Seal Island Lectures at Sea
Environmental education lectures to Seal Island will include a history of the island and of False Bay and information on the Great White Shark. Sharks, whales, seals, penguins and other sea birds, etc., may all be encountered while on the trip.

Duration of the trip: 1½ hours
Cost: R135 per person

3. Lectures at Sea in Simon’s Bay
(The destination will be either Boulders or Lower North Battery – depending on the weather.)

Environmental education lectures will include the history of Simon’s Bay, historical buildings visible from the sea, the African Penguin and/or whaling. Penguins, whales and seals etc. may all be encountered while at sea.

Duration of the trip: 1 hour
The cost will be: R25 per student
