Women’s Day falls on a Tuesday this year, making it the perfect day to treat yourself or that unique lady in your life with our selection of excellent specials and events. This day commemorates ladies who fought for their rights and dignity as they pushed back the regime’s “pass” systems (identity documents that limited freedom of movement). In 1956, well over 20 000 women marched to the Union Building in Pretoria in fierce defiance of the oppressive apartheid laws. On Women’s Day, we celebrate the magic, beauty, love and strength in every woman.
